Okocha urges Tammy Abraham to dump England
Former Super Eagles skipper Austin Jay-Jay Okocha has urged Tammy Abraham to switch to the African nation, Nigeria.
Chelsea starlet, Abraham, 19, who is on loan at Swansea, insists he remains committed to playing for England — despite meeting Nigeria FA president Amaju Pinnck last weekend.
Former Bolton star Okocha said: “We would loved Tammy to play for Nigeria as we are building a strong team.
“Competition for a place in the England team is very tough.
“He should play for Nigeria as he would have a better chance of going to the World Cup.”
